What is the dress code and what should I pack?
The dress code is very casual. Bring jeans, a sweater and shoes you don’t mind getting a bit wet or muddy. The weather starts to cool down in London in September, when the autumn season is setting in. At this time of year, the average temperature is 17°C. It’s likely that we’ll experience some rain. The venue offers basic toiletries and towels. If you would like to take part in our wellbeing activities do bring some sports gear suitable for running and/or yoga.

I am travelling from a far distance. Can I stay at the venue prior to or after the event?
Yes. Please contact us to let us know what dates you would like to stay. We can also help you arrange accommodations in London.

Can I bring a guest/co-founder?
This event is for CEOs of Balderton companies only and the venue has a limited number of rooms. If you have a co-founder who would like to join, please contact us and we can do our best to accommodate.

Do I need to prepare for the event in any way or can I get involved?
No need to prepare. We may contact some guests to offer insights on relevant panel discussions, so there may be minimal preparation required that we'll assist with. Or if you would like to participate please contact us.

I would like to come but cannot stay the whole time. Is it worth me coming?
Definitely. We will follow up with everyone regarding travel itineraries closer to the event date so you can let us know your travel schedule then.

Are you picking up guests from airports?
We are not planning to pick up or drop off guests at airports. All airports have direct links into the city. The venue is a 30-minute train ride from Euston station. We will have shuttles from the train station to the venue. See the Venue section on this website for further details or contact us if you need further assistance.

Are the hotel rooms ensuite?
Yes, all hotel rooms are en suite. And for those sleeping in our Shikar Tents there will be lavatories close by and access to showers in the morning.
