On Wednesday 9th May we will be devoting some time to a mini adventure away from our CEO Collective basecamp. Please select your 1st and a backup 2nd option at the bottom of this form once you’ve read through the selection below. We will do what we can to accommodate your first choice.
Each adventure will take 1 ½ - 2 hours, including transport. There are some additional morning options available for everyone. And the possibility for pre dinner football for those that have the energy and inclination.
All routes go through the village of Roussillon
Gently wind your way through vineyards on your journey along the Luberon Ochre Trail, famed for its red and gold cliffs - the source of the intense pigments you’ll find in the nearby village of Roussillon. Weary limbs heading back? No problem, let your electric bike do the work, as you drink in the views on the return leg.
Cycling on classic hybrid bikes, this 17km ride takes a more challenging route across the undulating hills of the Luberon area. Also stopping in Roussillon, enjoy the afternoon sun on your back, as you cycle past cherry trees in bloom and inhale the scent of lavender fields.
For those of you more comfortable riding in the Pélaton, this ride is for you. A challenging journey mountain biking over 18km of varied terrain, race through vineyards and on gravel tracks, stopping briefly to admire the village of Roussillon. Grab a drink, you’ve earned it.
Wine Tasting 'Safari'
In the company of local sommelier, Laëtitia Delporte, explore the vineyards and cellars of hand-picked Chateaux in the region. Your safari will visit Maison de la Truffe et du Vin in nearby Menerbes, and Domaine de la Citadelle, which is considered one of the best chateaux in the region for the variety and culture of it's grapes.
*Wine tasting is a fully accessible activity.
Take a scenic hack through the Luberon landscape accompanied by an experienced guide. Set your own pace at a walk, trot or gentle canter.
Try your hand at this French institution in the Boulodrome of Goult, where local winemaker and Pétanque expert David Florent will take you through the rules of play and share his top tips. ….. Compete to win, or drinks afterwards are on you, at local Café de La Poste. Baguettes and Breton tops optional.
*Pétanque is a fully accessible activity.
These sessions take place in the morning so are optional and are available for everyone.
